Welcome Haley Jabusch - Calgary’s New Community Manager
We are so excited to announce our newest team member for Startup TNT Calgary! The city's investor community, its founders, and the relationships built around our summits are the reason the work matters. We have been heads-down building the infrastructure to support that community better, and today we are excited to share what that looks like in practice.
Haley Jabusch has officially landed at Startup TNT as our Calgary Community Manager. Her role is straightforward: be the person in the room, build the relationships, and make sure founders and investors in Calgary have someone to call. If you have been wondering what is next for TNT in Calgary, Haley is a big part of the answer.
And the timing is deliberate. The Spring Investment Summit is coming, and applications are open. So, who is Haley?
She comes to this role with experience on both sides of the table. Over the course of her career, she worked inside incubators and accelerators, where she watched early-stage companies navigate commercialization up close, then moved to the investing side, sourcing and evaluating deals and supporting ventures as they raise capital and scale.
When she’s not building momentum in the ecosystem, you’ll likely find Haley chasing it in the mountains.
She is a Calgarian through and through, having grown up in the city and built relationships across the ecosystem through Innovate Calgary, CETAC-West, and the Calgary Innovation Coalition. She knows the community well, and the community knows her.
Her conviction on early-stage investing is worth noting. Haley believes some of the strongest companies coming out of ecosystems like Calgary are quietly building businesses that are capital-efficient, customer-grounded, and positioned for earlier exits, rather than chasing large follow-on rounds. For angel investors, she argues, that is where the real opportunity sits.
In this role, she is focused on strengthening the bridge between first-time investors and high-quality startup opportunities. She wants our community of angel investors to build conviction, make thoughtful decisions, and stay engaged beyond their first Investment Summit.
Outside of work, you will find her on a mountain somewhere. She’s snowboarded in Japan two seasons running, is heading to Chile this year, and has a heli trip on the radar for 2027. Did you read this and know you and Haley need to talk ASAP? That’s great and that’s why she’s here.
