Startup TNT Secures 2-Year Sponsorship with McKercher LLP To Power Saskatchewan Community Programs

Startup TNT has secured a renewed 2-year sponsorship agreement with McKercher LLP to power Saskatchewan Startup Summit programs and strengthen the province’s startup investment ecosystem. The partnership includes both financial sponsorship and in-kind legal services to support due diligence, deal structuring, and new investment readiness programming for founders and investors in Saskatchewan.
SASKATOON, SK – March 16, 2026 – Startup TNT, one of Canada’s most active pre-seed investors (CVCA ‘23, ‘24, ‘25), is proud to announce a renewed 2-year sponsorship agreement with McKercher LLP, Saskatchewan’s leading law firm for high-growth startups. The partnership will provide both financial sponsorship and value-in-kind legal services to support Startup TNT’s Saskatchewan Investment Programs including the Summit and their new Investment Readiness initiative next year. McKercher LLP’s support ensures that TNT can perform stronger due diligence processes and deal structuring for startups and investors.

Since 2021, Startup TNT has been filling the gap in angel investing in Saskatchewan through their programming. They have helped 29 Saskatchewan startups raise over $5.5 million in investments from their angel network and an additional $29 million from other dilutive and non-dilutive funding sources. They have done this by activating 198 new investors to deploy capital into Saskatchewan startups, with 40% of the total funds coming from investors outside the province. Thanks to the support from Innovation Saskatchewan and this recent support from McKercher LLP, Startup TNT will be developing new programs in the province including an Investment Readiness program that kicked off this week.
